it's a safety step. reformer pilates isn't like other workouts: the machine itself has a learning curve. spring tension, footbar adjustments, carriage control, and body positioning all take a bit of hands-on guidance before you're ready to move safely and get the most out of a class. that's why we ask every new member to complete an intro class or the start here series first — it protects you from getting hurt, sets you up to actually feel the exercises correctly instead of guessing, and means you walk into your first regular class with confidence.

intro classes run mondays at 4pm, wednesdays at 7pm, and sundays at 1pm.

fitted, comfortable clothing you can move in — think leggings or fitted shorts and a fitted top. grip socks are required on the reformer; they're available for purchase at the studio.
